This video is of a 1989 Bikini Contest in Cocoa Beach. It was a weekend surfing festival that held the contest and I was there photographing the entire event. The bikini contest had a few potential models I wanted to work with. This video has the contestants prepping backstage and then on stage competing for the prize package worth more than $5,000. While I'm sure the year was 1989, I'm unsure if this was the annual NKF Surf Fest or the Stubbies Surf Contest. Perhaps they combined for the event. I just remember the Stubbies being held down at Sebastian Inlet.
